Decriminalisation entails the removal of criminal penalties for selected activities. In the context of drug use, the following activities would no longer constitute a criminal offence or be subject to criminal penalties: Drug use, possession of drugs for personal use, cultivation and purchase of controlled plants for personal use, possession of drug use paraphernalia.
