Nigeria expressed its support for the statement of the African Union made earlier this morning. It said there was a need to develop a distinction in criminal law between drug users and traffickers. It mentioned its efforts to intensify the campaign on the links between injecting drug use and HIV. It noted that the President officially launched a Drug Free Nigeria campaign.
