In Sudan as in the rest of the world, their is no simple national solution. There is an important question of information exchange, should it be through Interpol or another similar organisation. In Sudan, we also have the problem of drug abuse including precursors, and we are using law enforcement to tackle trafficking and to provide technical assistance.
There is also a great lack in decreasing demand, and this needs to be stressed by the commission. If this is done, prevention can be a cornerstone in fighting drug use. Many UN bodies can provide the technical assistance that is needed.
