Harm reduction programs are very important, and are supported by WHO. We need these in prison settings and our success in HIV reducing is due to a non-judgemental approach by our policy makers. A holistic approach to offering drug free treatment is a good thing, but we also need to tackle underground groups as well. We have been the most successful EU state in reducing drug related harm thanks to harm reduction measures.
We have many wide range harm reduction programs throughout the country including those after initial treatment. Infection rates have been consistently been reducing and point to the success of harm reduction measures.
We will assist any other country who wants our assistance.
