My country fully supports the Asian Group. We understand that drug control is a joint responsibility,and should be included in a multilateral framework. We reiterate our commitment to work with the international community within the framework of the international drug conventions, in respect to territorial integrity, on the principle of quality and respect for life.

We had almost no demand for drugs over the past year. Iraq has been competent enough to tackle drugs for their youth. Our country has taken preventive measures to tackle drugs, through cooperation with other countries. 

In terms of reducing supply, we allude to the negotiations with Iraq authorities and the UN so that we can prepare a MoU to reinforce our collaboration with UNODC. We want to thank UNODC and INCB as they are important for us. 

We have the same concerns that other cuntries may use our land to get away from sanctions. We are very proud in our principles.
