I welcome the efforts of the ED of UNODC in helping to strengthen the international efforts. Tunisia has seized many drugs and has aimed to strengthen prevention and law enforcement. Authorities seek to establish a monitoring centre on drug abuse to collect and analyse data. We also organised awareness campaigns in Tunisia. We also have trainings for doctors and health professionals. We also intend to carry out a study on all aspects of the phenomenon. I want to stress the importance of our common efforts in tackling the drugs problem and its effects on society so that solutions can be found at national level and international level.
