Japan is concerned about cannabis abuse, especially its influence of the young populations. It is also concerned about the use of different substances that are not prohibited by the international drug control system, but include synthetic cannabis substances. Many countries have started to make regulations for these substances. The international community needs to learn more about cannabis abuse and new emerging trends. Japan believes that it can diminish this trend through the information provided by the international community.
