I support many of the statements so far. We need to see a reduction in demand especially in the EU and in the USA. It is an economic, social and political issue that needs to be challenged universally. The demand for drugs however is the fuel for this trade, however the funds received to tackle the issues are dwarfed by the sums involved in drug trafficking.
Greater commitments must be made in consumption countries and demand reduction must be monitored and we need a more aggressive policy in demand reduction.
