We have a new anti-drugs strategy with its main goal being the protection of public health. Specialised centres for drug users have been created and we began a discussion in 2009 about some changed to prison legislation for drug users. We have seen a slight decline in some drug use.
We need to concentrate on new substances like mephedrone and spice which aren’t covered by international bodies. We have made a new law to control these new substances.
